During a particularly bracing winter run in the local park, I nearly stood on 3 different squirrels. Normally they bolt up the nearest tree when you are within a stones throw but on this day they seemed to wait until the shadow of my tired foot was headed straight for their heads.

As the squirrel panicked and bolted towards an extremely loud and angry murder of crows I realised that these two animals perfectly represent the area in south London where I live. My mind wandered further until I had convinced myself this was the perfect name for a local pub, weird & wonderful but with a nod to the traditional.

So I decided to design a logo and then a website for this imaginary establishment. It gave me the perfect project to delve into the mind of a user and practice a process of brand development.
